Municipal governments have a unique role to play in building Canada’s future. At EY, Mohamed supports strategic transformation within cities and municipalities, as well as across human and social services.
For nearly two decades, Mohamed has cultivated a wide range of public sector experience in Canada and Australia. Keenly interested in municipal government’s ability to transform, Mohamed develops and implements transformation programs grounded in collaborative stakeholder management, financial analysis, effective evaluation and risk management.
Mohamed earned a Master of Business Administration, accounting, from McMaster University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, political science, from Wilfrid Laurier University.
How Mohamed is shaping the future with confidence
Working with cities, municipalities and other public sector agencies in Canada and abroad showed me the many different ways these governments can foster success on a national scale. When we help public sector organizations improve operations and efficiency — especially where public money is concerned — we can create much-needed local and national momentum.
