Nicolette is a passionate storyteller and media relations expert at EY Canada. In this role, she focuses on building, supporting, and protecting the firm’s reputation through expert counsel and impactful strategies for engagement across all external media.
With over a decade of experience in PR, Communications and Media Relations, she has had the privilege of speaking on various platforms, including the prestigious TEDx stage, where she addressed the critical issue of fake news.
With a firm commitment to driving positive change in the realm of media literacy, she has been actively engaged in giving talks at schools across Ontario, focusing on educating the next generation about fake news and media literacy. Her mission is to empower young minds to develop a healthy news consumption diet and foster a deep understanding of our ever-evolving news ecosystem.
She is passionate about equipping the next generation of leaders with tools to succeed. She is currently a mentor with The Forum and is Chair of the PR Program Advisory Committee with the Faculty of Media and Creative Arts at Humber College.
Nicolette holds a master’s degree in Strategic Business Communications from The University of Ottawa and is APR certified.
