Areas of focus

Ryan is an experienced leader in digital forensic analysis, digital investigations and cybersecurity. As an EY Partner, he works with clients involved in workplace investigations and civil litigation matters, including intellectual property theft, human resources investigations and data breaches.

Ryan focuses on criminal and civil investigations and is deemed Professional Witness by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice. Prior to joining EY, Ryan was National Lead of Digital Forensics for a global professional services organization and Principal of his own consulting firm. He also served as a Constable for the Peel Regional Police as a senior digital forensic investigator, fraud investigator and young education officer.

Ryan holds a Master of Science in Digital Forensic Management. He is a dedicated mentor with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Mentorship Program and an advisor and lecturer at the University of Toronto.

It’s my job to help people and organizations investigate online fraud, identify vulnerabilities, take preventative action, and serve as a trusted advisor to help organizations protect reputation and trust.
