Sheila Banks-Switzer

Sheila is a seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in the Ontario health care system. Currently, she serves as a Director, Digital Health in EY’s Technology Strategy & Transformation practice. In this role, Sheila is sought after for her deep knowledge of operational effectiveness and modernization in government and health care. With a wealth of diversified experience in performance, contracts, analytics and decision support across health care, hospitals, primary care and long-term care, Sheila drives insights into health system funding, operations and policy.

In her work in EY’s Digital Health and Government & Public Sector practices, she brings executive-level experience in designing and performing evaluations and assessment projects and frameworks. She has led designed evaluation frameworks and validated methods for the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services, Ontario Health and for Nova Scotia Health.

In her most recent government role, Sheila was the Vice President of Quality, Performance and Accountability at the Toronto LHIN. Her advice is frequently sought after by clients who are seeking to articulate the value created through assessment methodologies, operating models and organizational structures.

How Sheila is shaping the future with confidence

In addition to her professional achievements, Sheila is very involved in her community and is an active ally to the LGBTQ+ community. She volunteers as a Board Member & Member of the Quality Committee at the Regent Park Community Health Centre, where she has been serving since September 2024.
