As Canada’s National Audit Leader, Sonya is focused on driving transformative change and continuously evolving to better meet the needs of our clients, investors and regulators. She is committed to enhancing quality to inspire confidence and trust in the capital markets.
Sonya has extensive experience leading audit and other professional services for a wide variety of both publicly listed companies and private clients headquartered in Canada with global operations. She is also the Managing Partner of our Halifax Office.
Sonya is Chartered Professional Accountant and graduated from Dalhousie University with a bachelor’s degree in commerce. In 2020, she was awarded the FCPA designation.
Committed to enhancing her community, Sonya is the current Board Chair of the YMCA of Halifax. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the IWK Health Centre.
