Tarek Elguebaly is a visionary leader in artificial intelligence and data, with over 20 years of experience driving complex transformation initiatives centered on digital innovation and advanced analytics. As the National AI leader, he partners with senior executives to design and deliver enterprise-scale AI programs that enhance operational performance, unlock new value, and accelerate strategic growth.

Throughout his tenure at EY, Tarek has held senior leadership roles focused on expanding AI and data capabilities across key sectors. He has led large-scale transformation programs and helped shape the firm’s approach to integrating emerging technologies into business strategy. Across his career, Tarek has directed multi-billion-dollar AI initiatives for leading Canadian organizations in banking, mining, and energy, bringing deep expertise in aligning technology with measurable business outcomes.

Tarek holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and Computer Vision and a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Concordia University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Cairo University.
