Umang Handa

Umang is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with more than 19 years of experience in building, scaling and leading global cyber defence programs. He currently heads Cyber Managed Services at EY, where he helps organizations stay secure through advanced threat detection, response and continuous threat intelligence.

With deep knowledge across cyber threat intelligence, operational technology (OT) security, security operations centre (SOC) transformation, and managed detection and response (MDR) modernization, Umang has worked with clients across industries, including government, manufacturing, retail, financial services, energy and utilities, consumer goods, health care and technology.

He is known for his strategic thinking and hands-on technical leadership, and his ability to translate complex cybersecurity challenges into practical, scalable solutions. Umang is also a mentor and advocate for developing the next generation of cyber professionals and frequently speaks at industry panels and thought leadership forums.

Umang holds a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Engineering and several leading cybersecurity certifications.
