Yvonne is a Partner, and EY America’s AI Assurance Leader working from our office in Toronto, Canada. 

Backed by over 18 years of experience in risk management and IT auditing, Yvonne specializes in AI governance, risk and controls management and AI assurance. Believing in AI’s potential for good, she assists EY clients in implementing AI in an ethical and responsible manner.

Yvonne was a key contributor to EY’s global Responsible AI Framework, principles, impact assessments, and the Governance, Risk and Control (GRC) framework throughout the AI system lifecycle.

She collaborates closely with the Standards Council of Canada and the Responsible AI Institute to develop industry regulations and standards.  She was instrumental in leading readiness assessments against the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (RMF), EU AI Act, and ISO 42001 AIMS standard.

Yvonne holds a MSc and a BSc degree – both in Computer Science - from the University College London (UCL) in London, UK. She is also CISSP, CIPP/C, and CISA certified.
