EY announces the acquisition of “Klingler Consultants” and the organization’s increased compensation and performance management service offerings in Switzerland. Compensation and remuneration are key growth areas. With the integration of one of the market leaders in Switzerland, the EY organization is able to strengthen its position and future offerings and capabilities. Klingler Consultants will be integrated into Ernst & Young Ltd. (“EY Switzerland”) and will be part of the strongly growing Workforce Advisory team. The acquisition will be effective as of March 17, 2023.
Zurich, March 20, 2023 – “Klingler Consultants” is a leading remuneration consulting boutique based in Zurich, specializing in all compensation and benefits related services. The firm serves clients across all sectors with its highly specialized staff.
The acquisition by EY Switzerland is an important step in growing EY’s position in the reward consulting market. Christoph Thoma, Organization & Workforce Transformation Leader, EY Switzerland: “The acquisition of Klingler Consultants will enable EY Switzerland to broaden its offerings for clients in remuneration and benefit consulting.” Klingler Consultants’ core services include compensation strategy and implementation, market positioning/benchmarking, benefits, pay equity, and compensation education and training. The EY People Advisory Services team in Switzerland offers consulting in people experience, learning, digital HR, talent management, analytics, organization design and HR-transformation. “Klingler Consultants” was founded in 2010 and currently has a team of highly specialized employees. The services have a diversified client portfolio with a focus on the Swiss market, specializing in the financial services, health sciences and industrial/manufacturing distribution sectors. With this acquisition, EY Switzerland will provide a superior offering to existing and new clients by delivering all of the offerings of EY Remuneration, Tax, Legal and Mobility in an integrated manner. The acquisition price has not been disclosed.
