Eric Duvoisin

Eric is a Tax Partner with more than 18 years of experience in Swiss and international corporate tax matters, including Transaction Tax. He has led the EY Switzerland Tax Desk at EY USA from 2020 to 2023.

He is a Tax Partner with EY Switzerland, based in Geneva and responsible for International and Transaction Tax Services for a large range of local and international companies operating in Switzerland. Eric works primarily with multinational clients. Furthermore, he regularly assists clients in transactions (due diligence, structuring, etc.).

Eric has a Master’s Degree in Law (University of Fribourg, Switzerland), a LL.M. in Business Law (University of Geneva, Switzerland) and is a Swiss Certified Tax Expert. He speaks French and English.

How Eric is building a better working world

In my role as a trusted business advisor, I use tax knowledge to provide value encompassing the KPIs of different operational functions within an organization. By offering solutions that optimize business flows and investments in line, amongst others, with the OECD’s BEPS Pillar Two rules, I help clients navigate complex tax landscapes. My focus spans across all industries, except financial services, leveraging AI where applicable to enhance efficiency and accuracy. By collaborating with EY tax and non-tax specialists, I ensure a comprehensive and holistic EY experience for our clients and stakeholders. A notable success includes assisting clients with new investments in Switzerland, facilitating job creation and the development of real estate and intangible assets. This involved engaging with local tax authorities and government agencies, ensuring clients remain profitable and competitive while contributing to local economies.
