As a Director at EY GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in the Assurance service line, Stefan is responsible to support clients with implementing their Digital Reporting Agenda. He leads teams in various client projects that involve the implementation of reporting topics such as regulatory reporting, sustainability (EU-Taxonomy and Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR) ESG Reporting) and European Single Electronic Format (ESEF). Stefan is leading the Integrated Reporting Framework (IReF) team at the global EY organization in the sub-service line Financial Accounting Advisory Services in Germany.

Stefan comes from a consulting and audit background and has gained a deep knowledge of implementing new reporting requirements. For two financial years, he was also leading the Financial Services Germany Regulatory reporting audit support.

He is also a publisher of a commentary for Minimum Requirements for Risk Management (MaRisk).

Stefan uses his knowledge to help enable clients to navigate the complex and ever-evolving reporting environment in banking. He drives innovation (e.g. AI solutions) and is thereby contributing to long-term value for his clients. He is always ready to support the development of his team.
