Melissa serves as the EY Regional IFRS Leader for Oceania. In this role, Melissa draws on her more than 30 years of experience providing assurance and accounting advisory services to promote the consistent application of IFRS.
She assists engagement teams and advises clients in practically interpreting and applying IFRS to complex accounting-related issues. She is able to clearly communicate the practical implications of accounting to clients, and assist in developing solutions and tools for them.
She is the co-chair of the EY IFRS business combinations working group and is a member of the AASB’s Business Combinations/Equity Method Project Advisory Panel.
Melissa qualified as an Australian Chartered Accountant in 1998, and has experience working in Australia and France.
