Looking for a co-op placement as part of your university program? We offer 4-8 month placements in all of our Canadian offices where you can experience what it is like to be a part of our exceptional client serving teams. You will have dynamic client experiences throughout the year and contribute to the services we provide worldwide as a global professional services firm.
During your co-op placement, you will receive hands-on training, coaching and development, and be able to put your university knowledge to use. These experiences will range in industries of your choice as the EY Experience is yours to build. It doesn’t end there either - when you are back at school in between co-op terms, you’ll act as a campus ambassador for EY and continue to receive our best-in-class employee benefits.

Do you hear “challenge” and think “opportunity”? EY Challenge is a Canada-wide competition unlike anything you’ve ever participated in before! Geared towards university students interested in a professional services career, this business competition will push you outside of your comfort zone and put your leadership, creativity, and teamwork skills to the test. Spanning November to February, winning teams from each region are selected during local Pitch Days to travel and compete at the EY Challenge National Finals in Toronto! Students can either sign up to compete as a team, be a spectator to cheer on other students, or as a volunteer.
At local Pitch Days, teams of four are given a mystery product to make their own and pitch to a panel of EY judges, fellow competitors, and excited spectators. Based on creativity, problem solving skills, and collaboration, one winning team is chosen from each Pitch Day to represent their school as an EY Challenge National Finalist. In Toronto, competitors undergo four unique challenges over three days in an attempt to come out on top as the National Winner. This competition gives students a chance to engage with EY, learn more about our culture, and meet other amazing students from across the country.

Global Student Experience
How can a four-week internship create a world of opportunities? With international assignments in major cities in the United States, the Global Student Experience (GSE) allows interns to collaborate and build relationships with people of diverse backgrounds – both professionally and culturally. It begins in June in the intern’s home office. The intern then works in an EY member firm in a different city for four weeks, and finally returns to the home office to complete the internship.
You will first be required to accept an internship offer from one of our Canadian offices. After you accept your offer, you'll be provided information about how to submit an application, which will include both a live and prerecorded video assessment. Experience EY (ExEY)
Where do you start if you want to change the world? You start right here with a career at EY. From the moment you receive an offer to join us in person/virtually, you'll begin building your skillset and expanding your mindset. Access to “Experience EY” provides the opportunity to immerse yourself in our culture through multiple touchpoints over the summer. You’ll learn about the transformative work we do for our clients, and how an exceptional career at EY is yours to build. Experience EY is open to students looking to pursue the CPA designation after graduation and who are available for either a co-op term, internship, or full-time position the following year.
Women in Technology (WIT) Conference
Is technology missing an X chromosome? To close the gender gap and help drive inclusive growth, the Transformative Age needs more women to become shapers of our digital future. Our Women in Technology (WIT) Conference offers female students studying STEM a unique, interactive two-day experience, including: hearing firsthand from EY women leaders about their experiences incorporating new technologies into their roles and work with clients; networking opportunities with EY professionals, as well as your peers, skills workshops, including interview preparation tactics; and an opportunity to apply early for an EY internship and/or full-time positions in our Consulting service line. Partner for a Day
Are you ready to experience a day in the life of one of our Technology Consulting partners? Our Partner for a Day program is a unique opportunity that matches top third and fourth year undergraduate students currently enrolled in a STEM or business program with EY Partners for a day of mentorship and coaching. As part of the conference you’ll shadow a partner and gain an understanding of the breadth of their responsibility and how we work together at EY to achieve our goals and objectives. You will have the opportunity to participate in a mock case, simulating an actual consulting engagement and showcase your skills and gain valuable experience that will help prepare you for a career in consulting. Over the course of the day, you’ll learn more about our Technology Consulting practice, people, and culture while forging relationships with EY employees and fellow attendees.

Jordan Barratt, CPA, CA
National Campus Recruiting Leader
Jordan joined EY as an Assurance Co-op in 2004 and obtained his CPA designation in 2008. He worked on Financial Services Clients until 2014 when he made the move to industry to work at RBC. Jordan returned to EY as a “boomerang” in 2017 when he took on the role of Campus Recruiting Leader. His role now spans across all Talent Attraction (Campus and Experienced) for EY’s various service lines.
Katie Wilson, CHRL
National Assurance & Tax Campus Recruiting Leader
Katie first joined EY Toronto as an assurance co-op student while attending Memorial University in Newfoundland. She later completed a post graduate program in Human Resources and joined EY’s Campus Recruiting Team. She has held a few different roles on the team, including a short placement in Washington, DC, and is currently the Campus Recruiting Leader for EY’s Assurance Practice in Canada.
National Consulting Campus Recruiting Leader
Marianne started her EY journey in the UK and after 2 years with the campus team there, made the big move to join the team in Toronto in 2019. Passionate about people and culture, she has 8 years of experience in Campus and Experienced recruitment as well as Learning & Development.
National Campus Recruiting Coordinator
Krystle joined EY in November 2016 as the National Campus Recruiting Coordinator. She supports all of our campus recruiting efforts across Canada and can usually be found answering your DM’s on the campus Instagram page.

Amanda graduated from Mount Royal University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, where she discovered she wanted to work in HR and have a people-focused career. Amanda began her journEY at the firm in 2019 and works on the team as the National Assurance & Tax Campus Recruiter. She is enthusiastic about meeting and building meaningful relationships with students and can’t wait to meet you all.

Andrea joined EY in May 2021. She has 12 years of experience in the energy industry, both in Supply Chain Management and Human Resources, and enjoyed living and working in Alberta, Ontario and New Brunswick during that time. She’s excited to be back in Campus Recruiting doing what she loves, and is looking forward to meeting students, whether virtually or in-person!

Ellie first joined EY Toronto as an Assurance Intern in 2016 before finishing up her studies at McGill University in Montreal. Ellie joined the firm full-time in October 2017 as a Staff Accountant and worked primarily on real-estate engagements throughout her three and a half years in audit.
