Bill is the Advisory leader for the Western market segment and risk leader for the government and public sector market segment in Canada. He specializes in providing risk, internal audit and IT risk services to clients in the public and private sector and currently manages several internal audit co-sourcing arrangements.

Bill has over 30 years of experience in audit, IT risk assessment, performance improvement, change management, systems implementation and project reviews. He has extensive experience in performing system under development reviews.

In addition to his extensive experience in professional services, he spent three years working in the optoelectronics industry where he assisted in the start-up of an optoelectronics company as the general manager. 

After earning his Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University, Bill became a Certified Professional Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Management Consultant.

"In order to meet ambitious public policy objectives, governments are going to have to take risks. Helping them see the opportunities that underlie these risks and make informed decisions on the path forward is extremely rewarding.

I’m also a believer in educating the next generation of leaders. I’m a frequent instructor and presenter, teaching post-secondary and professional courses, as well as internal firm courses."
