The facilities management activities of our UK offices are certified to ISO 14001:2015 environmental management standard by the UKAS-accredited auditing body BSI.

In 2022 EY UK was awarded a SILVER rating, ranked in the 69th percentile of approx. 90,000 rated companies. Our scorecard is available to view via EcoVadis.

The UK firm is a signatory to the  Green Pensions Charter with a net-zero emissions target for our staff pension investments by 2050. 

The UK firm also complies with / reports under the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) and Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) requirements. 

The UK firm reports against Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) requirements i.e., governance mechanisms, strategy, risk management and targets, metrics and performance in relation to climate-related risks and opportunities. This is in compliance with the Climate-related Financial Disclosure Regulations 2022 (using non-binding Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) reporting guidance) and is incorporated into the ‘Energy and Carbon Report’ section of the Ernst & Young LLP Members’ Annual Report and Financial Statements.
