Sam Cinkir

Managing Director, Este Medical Group

Sam Cinkir

Coming from a small village in Turkey, Sam started working at a young age to support his family. Bullying at school impacted on his self confidence and after his father used cooking oil to help remove lice on his hair, which burnt his skin and damaged hair growth,  Sam didn’t visit a barber for 15 years.

Aged 18, he decided to move to the UK for a better life for his family, and aged 25 began working at a skin clinic and worked his way up to general manager. Whilst there, Sam experimented and eventually developed his own hair loss treatment. After the idea was rejected by his boss, Sam began his entrepreneurial journey and set up Este Medical in 2015.

He founded the business with the aim of making cosmetic treatments and procedures available to everyone– no matter their economic background, postcode, religion, or race.

Este Medical clinics currently treat over 200 people a day, seven days a week, with appointments available early in the morning and even late at night, making them more accessible. They offer surgeries, hair transplant, and plastic surgery at the Este Medical hospital in Turkey, with UK branches offering non-surgical procedures.

With branches in Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham and Sutton Coldfield, Sam has an ambition to open branches in a minimum of 30 cities and towns across the UK and eventually to build a hospital for surgical needs, to make Este Medical accessible to as many people as possible.

Clients travel from all over the world to be treated at his clinics which Sam believes this is down to the quality of service given by Este and the trust that people have in him and his staff. Este Medical Group was recently awarded ISO accreditation for quality and standards. This recognition of the work they do for their clients and standards they have is something Sam is extremely proud of.
