EY’s UK Law team expands Energy practice with further Partner appointment

EY has announced the appointment of Simon Collier as an Associate Partner in its UK Law practice. Simon joins from DLA Piper and will be a key part of EY Law’s newly created Energy team, led by recent Partner hire Charles Morrison.

EY has announced the appointment of Simon Collier as an Associate Partner in its UK Law practice. Simon joins from DLA Piper and will be a key part of EY Law’s newly created Energy team, led by recent Partner hire Charles Morrison.

The Energy team supports clients in the UK and globally, and works alongside other EY teams and practice areas which provide support to the energy sector, as part of EY’s integrated, multidisciplinary approach.

Simon’s focus is principally on the oil and gas sector, where he has advised international clients on project development, acquisitions and disposals, and financings across the value chain. His experience includes upstream exploration and production, storage and transportation arrangements, LNG (Liquified Natural Gas), refining, and product sales and trading. He has particular experience in Africa and the Mediterranean.
