EY-Parthenon announces senior hire for Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy practice

EY-Parthenon has announced the appointment of Iestyn Matthews as Associate Partner to its Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy practice.

Iestyn brings over 20 years’ experience and rejoins EY, having previously worked across its business risk and restructuring teams for almost ten years, where he predominantly focused on distressed restructuring and bank advisory work.

He joins EY-Parthenon from restructuring boutique, THM Partners, where he worked alongside management teams in companies undergoing a financial restructuring or a restructuring event, helping them to improve their financial stability and control.  Prior to that he worked for Alvarez & Marsal where he also focused on company side restructuring working on a range of financial restructuring, performance improvement and corporate transformation projects.

In his new role, he joins the 250-strong Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy team at EY-Parthenon, where he will continue to advise corporate clients on how they can protect and create value.
