EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ Asia-Pacific Class of 2021

Founder and CEO, YANGZI, Greater China

Mo Lv is the Founder and CEO of YANGZI, a home furnishing brand that provides affordable products with good-looking design and consistent quality, focusing on the youth’s way of life.

YANGZI aims, and works, to meet the needs of the people. The company has shown significant growth since it was founded — YANGZI's first product was recognized by users, with more than 2,800 items being sold within 14 days after its launch. The company is a subsidiary of Mexarts, a furnishing brand.

Mo realized that most of the home furnishing products that were good-looking and having high quality were often very expensive, and low-priced products were shoddy. Seeing an opportunity and inspired by her parents, who had been engaging with the furniture industry for 25 years, leading it with a global vision, Mo decided to start her own company. Thus, while working for Mexarts, she and Mexarts founded YANGZI in 2018.

She holds a bachelor's degree in International Business Management from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) and a master's degree in Advanced Business Management and Design Management from the University of Bath, UK. Prior to starting her business, Mo worked as an IKEA management trainee in Birmingham and then in various roles with Mexarts.

We hope to establish partnership with users and become a leading brand for new generations so that they can live a better life. We also aim to become a trusted platform for our partners to create value.
