Simon is a Director in EY’s Performance Improvement and Digital Finance team. Prior to his current post, Simon spent five years working in EY’s Government and Public Sector team.
Simon joined EY following a Summer Internship programme in 2004 and over the course of the following 13 years he has had a truly cross service line, cross market experience. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant within EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, Simon went on to complete two external secondments at HSBC and Jaguar Land Rover.
In 2013 Simon transferred to EY’s Government and Public Sector, Performance Improvement Finance Team and developed his strengths in consulting with a strong foundation and depth in Finance.
How Simon is building a better working world
Simon is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusiveness, he believes that when people are themselves at work and respect each other they provide the best possible service to our clients, whilst developing a stronger more effective workforce.
As part of EY’s International Women’s day, Simon was put forward for the UK&I inspirational role model award. This nomination truly reflected his commitment in leading diverse and inclusive teams, whilst creating a sense of belonging where everyone can thrive, building a better working future for all.
