That was followed by the announcement of Australia’s 2035 emissions target and the Net Zero Plan, which provides a roadmap for achieving emissions reductions across six sectors, supported by five national priorities.

In this special edition webcast, the EY Sustainability Disclosure Hub and Net Zero Centre team up to explore how businesses can leverage insights from these important frameworks to inform decision-making and business activities.

We will discuss:

  • Implications and insights for organisations on the information released, and what to focus on.
  • How this information can be used to inform businesses activities, such as the development (or revision) of climate-related risk and opportunity assessments, transition plans and asset management plans.
  • How the information may be relevant to AASB S2 reporting.
