EY and Belgian Cycling have extended their collaboration until May 31, 2029. EY will continue as the main partner of the Belgian Cycling Federation and retains exclusivity within its sector. As a global player in audit, tax, consulting, strategy, and transactions, EY has long been a stable and reliable pillar of support for Belgian Cycling.
The extension of the partnership follows a particularly successful Olympic cycle, in which Belgian Cycling secured five medals in Paris, including two golds by Remco Evenepoel. On both the European and world stages, the national teams earned numerous medals, with a record number of podium finishes in 2024.
The partnership with EY provides structural support behind the scenes while also offering strong visibility. The EY logo is prominently displayed on the shorts and jerseys of the national teams and is also featured during the Belgian championships. In addition, EY uses the partnership for targeted B2B activations and networking opportunities with other business stakeholders.
In recent years, Belgian Cycling has also expanded its sporting activities into new disciplines such as Gravel—a rapidly growing segment with promising potential. EY supports this innovative and forward-looking direction and joined the Belgian Cycling Friends project, which focuses on B2B networking and community-building within the sport.
Tom Van Damme, President of Belgian Cycling, emphasizes the shared values between both organizations: “People, teamwork, and personality are central to EY’s values. These are exactly the values we also cherish within Belgian Cycling and which make our partnership so strong. We are therefore very proud that EY is once again committing for four years to help further strengthen Belgian cycling.”
Steven Claes, CEO of EY Belgium: “Our partnership with Belgian Cycling reflects what we value at EY: teamwork, ambition, and the pursuit of sustainable performance. We proudly look back on four inspiring years and are enthusiastically continuing this partnership—also as a lever for internal engagement and talent recruitment.”
With this extension, EY and Belgian Cycling reinforce their long-standing collaboration and lay the foundation for a new successful cycle toward the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
