Optimal results require optimal data. Allan is an EY Canada Partner who founded, and leads, the firm’s national capital asset review (CAR) practice. His team brings together better insight and better digital tools to optimize income tax classifications and other incentives linked to major capital asset expenditures.
For more than 18 years, Allan’s group has supported clients in all industries across the CAR process. That includes assisting companies during Canada Revenue Agency audit negotiations, to successfully resolve capital asset classification issues both at home, and abroad. He is a sought-after explainer who trains practitioners, and presents regularly, on CAR best practices.
Allan is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Nova Scotia. He earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree in information systems and accounting from St. Francis Xavier University.
