Martin Mclaughlin

Backed by nearly two decades of experience, Martin is an EY partner and a member of our Quantitative Services team. He helps companies in both the public and private sectors leverage incentives and cash tax savings.

In his role as the Canadian Capital Investments, Fixed Asset and Cost Segregation leader, Martin works with clients to identify capital-related and green investment tax credits, accelerated capital cost allowance (CCA), and immediately deductible costs related to capital expenditures, including construction/renovations, sustainability initiatives, equipment, soft costs and/or software costs. Martin also advises companies conducting R&D activities in Canada on optimizing their tax credits through the SR&ED program.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Science (Science and Business, Economics Minor) from the University of Waterloo and has his CFA designation.
