EY UK 2026 Impact Report

How does the work we do help the UK thrive?

Our Impact Report shows the value we create through our work with clients, our investment in people and our contribution to communities across the UK.

Across the UK, we're living through a period of profound change. New technologies, shifting expectations and economic pressures are reshaping business, society and the way we work.

Our organisation has an important role to play in helping the UK navigate change and shape its future with confidence.

Our EY UK 2026 Impact Report tells that story: our work with clients, our investment in people and our contribution to communities across the UK.

Across 125 stories from every part of our UK business, the report brings our purpose to life. It shows how our people are building trust, creating opportunity and bringing together different perspectives to address some of the UK’s most pressing challenges.

People

As a profession built around developing people, helping them grow in ways that create a wider positive impact is fundamental to what we do.

Investing in our people and their skills to help the UK thrive

People are the centre of our business, and we continue to bring talented individuals into the organisation and help them build the skills they will need for the future.

That’s why we’re giving our people the encouragement, and hours, to build the skills they'll need in their careers. We’ve created Thrive Time: 10 days each year which they can spend on training, corporate responsibility and personal growth. This year we delivered 1.2 million learning hours.

The opportunity is to continue connecting the skills of our people with the needs of society.

Creating social impact through our skills, collaborations and contributions to communities

Collectively, we work with more than 60 charities and community organisations across the UK through EY Ripples, our corporate responsibility programme, which enables our people to volunteer their time and skills, alongside charitable giving, pro bono projects and strategic relationships that all support organisations driving social change.

Many of our alumni also continue to contribute to communities, supporting and setting up charities and social enterprises.

Together, this reflects our commitment to making sustainable, long-term contributions to communities in the UK.
