What can I do as part of the Core Business Services team?

Core Business Services (CBS) professionals, just like client-serving professionals, have different mindsets, skillsets and backgrounds. They work in Finance, Technology, HR, Brand, Marketing, Communications, Knowledge, Business Development, Public Policy and Risk Management.

Our business development team helps drive market-leading profitable growth for the firm through a range of activities from client and pursuit leadership through to account growth support,. You’ll be involved in shaping bid strategy: originating ideas, devising win strategies, owning the top-end pipeline and empowering our market-facing teams to drive continued success. You’ll develop key relationships with clients through your involvement in complex, long-term pursuits. You’ll have exposure to the breadth and depth of our global organisation, which will provide you with the chance to really stretch your capabilities.
We work closely with our clients, stakeholders, and employees to drive business growth, leading on positive employee engagement, and help develop impactful and lasting client relationships.

Our Brand and Marketing professionals are focused on our growth initiatives, connecting with current and prospective clients through valuable, insightful campaigns that help them understand where EY can add value to their business.
Our Communications professionals make sure our internal and external audiences understand what EY stands for and how we work with clients to support their goals. It’s our job to keep all communication relevant, impactful and consistent.
A globally connected support function, providing access to resources, advice and support across the globe. We provide a range of services to the organisation such as financial and statutory reporting, planning and budgeting, financial analysis and advice, market support, transaction processing and billing, compliance and tax support (including risk management and reporting services).
Resourcing provides the firm with the right people, for the right jobs, at the right time, in the right places - using a commercial mindset to deliver quality solutions.

Our Resourcing teams embed themselves within our business areas, focused on building credible and effective relationships to ensure we best understand their resourcing needs.

Throughout a career in Resourcing, you will be given a range of exciting and challenging experiences along with training and coaching to support your development.
