Christabel is EY’s UK Head of Regulatory and Public Policy and a member of the UK LLP Board. She is also Chair of the Policy and Reputation Group, which represents the UK's seven largest audit firms.
After joining EY in 2002, Christabel initially worked in the Strategy and Transactions practice, specialising in energy and utility companies. She then moved to the Audit practice in 2005 and became a Partner in 2006. Since then, Christabel has been the Audit Partner for a range of companies, focusing primarily on large businesses in the utilities and retail sectors.
In 2011, Christabel was appointed the Head of Audit for the North of England which includes offices in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Hull, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen.
In 2014, she became the Chief Operating Officer for Assurance in the UK&I and Head of the Extended Assurance practice.
Christabel has a Bachelor of Law degree from Liverpool University.
