David is the EY UK Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) and anti-tax evasion lead for Financial Services. He works closely with a range of financial services clients to address client and operational tax issues through embedding controls and governance across the business to help with the identification, escalation and remediation of potential tax issues including Mandatory Disclosure, Automatic Exchange of Information and withholding taxes.
Additionally, David's works with clients to respond to the digitalisation of tax, supporting the development and enhancement of responses to tax transparency measures through better use of data and technology, including the increased use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to drive efficiency, transparency and compliance.
