Gemma is a Partner in EY’s Energy Law team. She has a wealth of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, investments, and corporate structuring.
Gemma is a trusted advisor to clients in the clean energy and sustainability sector and with corporate clients on their decarbonisation and sustainability strategies. She has a particular interest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), whether advising clients already focusing on ESG or helping clients with their transition.
Gemma went to the University of Reading for her undergraduate degree – LLB Law, and later went on to achieve a Distinction during her time at the College of Law.

“I am extremely passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness (DEI), ensuring that those values are embedded in the foundations of the teams we build at EY. I am a member of our DEI working group, organising monthly sessions for the Law team to learn about different topics around DEI, helping to build knowledge and awareness. I also take a special interest in coaching and mentoring team members to help them reach their goals.”
