Joseph is a Director in the Energy Infrastructure & Finance Law team, specialising in international financing transactions.
He advises project sponsors, investors, corporates, commercial banks and public sector lenders such as Export Credit Agencies (ECA) and Development Finance Institutions (DFI) in international projects and transactions – including in emerging markets. Many of these projects are multi-jurisdictional and involve complex multi-tranche financing structures.
Joseph has worked in Greater China for a considerable period of time and is fluent in Chinese.
Prior to joining the global EY organisation, he worked in the London and Hong Kong offices of leading international law firms.
Joseph has an LLM degree from University College London, and an LLB degree from the University of Hong Kong.
