Kris leads the EY UK Financial Restructuring practice in the Midlands, working closely with a well‑established, high‑performing team.
His focus is on building long‑term relationships across the Midlands and ensuring businesses have access to the right guidance, at the right time, supported by the strength, connectivity and scale of the EY UK and Global networks.
He previously led the EY Financial Restructuring team in Scotland and, prior to that, was a senior member of the North-West Financial Restructuring team. He has led on several of the largest and most complex EY UK restructuring mandates and is experienced across the full range of restructuring solutions.
He holds a First-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Management from UMIST and is a Chartered Accountant and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
Kris is passionate about helping organisations and their stakeholders navigate challenging and often uncertain periods, bringing control and clarity to complex situations so management teams and lenders can make confident strategic decisions.
Drawing on his experience leading complex UK restructuring engagements, he implements practical solutions that stabilise businesses, protect employment and maintain access to essential services.
