Laura is the Managing Partner for Tax and Law at EY UK and Ireland, overseeing a team of over 2,500 professionals delivering a wide variety of innovative tax and legal services.

She has spent 25 years advising clients on all aspects of tax, from transactions and reorganisations to preparing for regulatory change, compliance and transformation.

Over the last decade, Laura has concentrated on advising clients in the consumer sector, with a focus on FMCG. She also led the EY tax practice in Scotland before becoming the Tax Markets Leader for the UK and Ireland and then stepping into the Managing Partner role at the end of 2023.

As a values-led leader, she is keen to innovate and drive growth in a rapidly-evolving regulatory environment within Tax and Law.

Laura is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has a LLB from the University of Glasgow.
