Mark joined the global EY organization in 2011 and has been an Equity Partner in the UK EY organisation since 2014. He is recognized in the market as a leading Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) tax adviser and leads tax relationships with a number of global financial services clients.
Mark has extensive international experience, including long-term secondments in the US and Asia, and previously worked as a tax lawyer at a leading international law firm.
Mark has held many leadership roles at the organization, having previously served as the EMEIA FS Tax International Tax and Transactions (ITTS) Leader and as a member of both the EY UK LLP partner independence panel and the UK Senior Independent Partner Forum.
He was elected to the EY UK LLP Board in July 2025.

Mark also actively contributes to the education sector, having volunteered as a school governor since the early 2000s and, currently, as the deputy chair of a federation of state primary schools in North London, where he is also chair of the Finance Committee. Mark's efforts empower clients and pupils alike to embrace the future with confidence.
