Paddy leads the EY UK&I Private Equity (PE) practice and is a member of the UK firm’s leadership team. He is the Client Service Partner for some of our key PE clients.
Paddy is a transactions partner at Ernst & Young LLP by background. He has spent over 20 years working with private equity investors and corporate clients, knowledgeable in providing pre-acquisition deal advice and supporting clients throughout the entire deal lifecycle.
He is passionate about serving his clients and developing his teams, both of which he seeks to do by creating a strong culture of collaboration. Paddy believes this is critical to providing EY clients with the best teams available and the people with interesting and challenging experiences within the sector. Collaboration is also key to building long-term relationships and providing a consistent level of service to portfolio companies over multiple ownership cycles – both of which are priorities for Paddy and his team.
How Paddy is building a better working world
“I actively support the EY Women in Private Equity (PE) initiative, ensuring it has the resources and exposure needed to drive meaningful change. In practice, this includes being a visible ally, mentoring professionals within the initiative and backing events that bring together diverse perspectives to foster inclusivity within the industry.
More broadly, I am committed to developing future talent by creating an environment where individuals feel supported and empowered to succeed. By championing diversity and inclusion, I aim to strengthen collaboration, enhance decision-making and contribute to a more equitable private equity landscape.”
