Jean-François serves as the EY Canada Financial Services Sustainable Finance Leader. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, Jean-François has worked for leading financial institutions in Canada, the United States and Europe, developing a broad base of expertise across different areas including asset management, insurance, credit and prepaid cards, mortgages and mortgage insurance, retail and corporate banking and real estate.
Prior to joining EY, Jean-François was a partner and co-founder of Pivot where he led various projects involving strategic positioning, organizational diagnosis, operations and risk management reviews for various types of financial services companies.
Prior to launching Pivot, Jean-François worked at a top management consulting company within their Organizational Transformation and Financial Services practice. With this firm, Jean-François worked with various financial institutions on topics of strategy, organizational restructuring, business model design, performance management (definition of metrics and objectives), as well as top team alignment. Working within the financial services practice, he developed strong expertise in financial effectiveness, including the development and implementation of new methodologies allowing for the quantification and management of risks.
Jean-François holds a Bachelor’s degree Honor’s in Actuarial Science from Concordia University. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
