Innovative business objectives require innovative incentive strategies. As an EY Canada Partner who leads our business  incentives practice nationally, Susan guides a multidisciplinary Canadian team singularly focused on enabling companies to achieve their growth goals.

Over the last three decades, she’s built an expansive EY career working at the heart of Canada’s innovation ecosystem. From finance practitioners to science and engineering professionals: Susan’s integrated team works across functions and specialties to support clients on SR&ED, tax credits, capital cost segregation and incentive initiatives. She is a member of our global R&D and Innovation Leadership Council, as well as CPA Canada’s SR&ED Advisory Tax Committee.

Susan is a force for positive change with clients, our EY people and the broader community. She is the former Canadian Chair of EY’s Gender Equity Advisory Council, served on our Americas Partner Advisory Council and Canadian Partnership Board, and was the inaugural Chair of CPA Canada’s Women’s Leadership Council. Susan is active on the Board of the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, where she sits on the Finance & Investment Committee in addition to chairing the Audit Committee. She is also a member of United Way’s Women United.

Susan holds a B.Comm. degree from the University of Toronto. In 2017, she was designated a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
