    Data Analytics

As part of EY's Strategy and Transactions business area, we help clients improve their businesses by developing cloud-based platforms and analytics tools across a variety of use cases ranging from complex strategic corporate transactions to healthcare analytics.

    What will you be doing?

    • Using innovative data transformation and visualisation tools
    • Working directly with clients and as part of large EY teams in their offices or at EY
    • Learning on the job from senior colleagues as well as through structured learning
    • Are you eligible to apply?

We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an honours degree in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics, Engineering or any Data Science related discipline. Operational knowledge of a computer programming language such as SQL, Python,  R etc. is also needed and you should have a passion for technology and an aptitude for business. You'll also need a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.

We welcome applications from all academic backgrounds and are looking for individuals who will succeed at EY in the desired role and future qualifications, therefore throughout our recruitment process your academic performance will be considered against your online assessment scores to determine your suitability for an EY role. We are also proud to partner with RARE recruitment, so that your application can be processed in the context of your socio-economic background. This allows us to give you the maximum credit for your achievements, assessing whether you have overachieved in light of your personal circumstances.

    How’s it structured?

After an EY induction, you’ll jump straight into learning how we drive client results through analytics practices and methodologies. You will quickly start working on client projects as part of a team and will upskill in advanced technical skills. Whilst the role is London or Manchester based, our team supports hybrid working so you could be working in the office, at home or at the client's site depending on your project that day.

Your learning and development are at the core of this programme so as well as having the support of your team and a coach, you'll also take internal training courses.

If all goes well, by the end of the programme you'll have the experience, knowledge and skills to receive a promotion and continue building a great career.
