Software Strategy Group

EY-Parthenon provides numerous opportunities for associates; EY-Parthenon Software Strategy Group’s services include investment and acquisition guidance (including commercial, product, and technology diligence), strategy/value creation and strategy and transactions to companies and investors in the Software Economy. Software Strategy Group team members conduct primary and secondary research, synthesise and analyse data, build and test hypotheses, and deliver strategic advice to our clients to help them make informed decisions.

Our teams provide actionable results based on deep experience and knowledge in enterprise and vertical applications, infrastructure, and cloud services to help investors evaluate potential transactions and enable software-driven companies to compete and win.


What will you be doing?

  • As a graduate program participant, you will be exposed to a diverse range of situations within the transaction lifecycle ranging from diligence to strategy assignments, by working on client-facing projects in varying sectors.

  • You will learn from industry experts across all sectors and service offerings, and you will be given responsibilities to deliver value on our client engagements through our world-class execution methodology and highly experienced team.

  • You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of a project including but not limited to conducting industry research, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, preparing near client ready slide outputs which focuses on 4 core pillars: Product, Technology & Architecture, R&D, and Hosting. Some of this work will be based in the office, and some may require you to travel globally.

  • You will be at the forefront of leading technology industry trends and exposure to cutting edge innovation including IoT, serverless computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

  • You will take part in social activities, charity days and projects with other graduates and contribute to people initiatives such as recruitment and training.
