Accessibility and adjustments

We welcome requests for support and adjustments from anyone working at EY, or thinking about joining us, so that we can help create the best possible experience during the application process and at work. You only need to share what you feel comfortable with and all conversations we have with you will be confidential. We understand that sharing your requests with us can be daunting, so if you have any questions before or during your application, please feel free to reach out. We’re here to support you throughout your recruitment journey. At EY, inclusivity is a priority and we carefully consider requests for support and adjustments, ensuring all candidates who identify as neurodivergent, have disabilities or long-term health conditions have a positive experience.

Some of the adjustments we're able to make to the process include:

  • Extra time to complete assessments
  • Speech-to-text and magnification software
  • Close captions for videos
  • Early access to view assessment venues

You can either complete the adjustments form via the application portal or discuss directly with your recruitment contact.

25% extra time:

Where appropriate, we offer adjustments to support candidates with diverse abilities. Please note, the maximum additional time we can usually offer is 25%, but we will review requests and consider adjustments on a case-by-case basis.

Medical evidence:

During our recruitment process, we do not require supporting medical evidence relating to any adjustments to our process. However, if you are successful and accept an offer for a role which requires you to study for a professional qualification and you require an adjustment(s) in relation to exams or courses from the relevant professional body, that body may require medical evidence to support your adjustments.

We understand that the need for support and adjustments does not end once the application process is complete. We want all our people to be able to work effectively and thrive at EY. By removing barriers and providing appropriate support, we can help individuals perform at their best.

Here are some of the adjustments we’ve made for our people at EY:

  • Ergonomic support equipment
  • Accessibility software packages
  • Specialist guidance for neurodivergence support
