Economies are fuelled by competitive organisations who buy, sell, merge with others or restructure parts of their business. Our job is to help them do all that whilst making more informed decisions and building better strategies.
In Turnaround and Restructuring, we advise organisations and other affected parties when they are underperforming or in distress, on the best course of action. Through independent analysis, we help them either get back on track or go through insolvency procedures such as administration or receivership.
What will you be doing?
Solving urgent and important economic business problems by analysing data and proposing solutions for underperforming businesses.
Undertaking a range of tasks required to manage a company that is going through an insolvency process, often working at the client site, giving you great exposure to a variety of businesses and sectors.
Assisting with a variety of projects including solvent and insolvent processes; pensions and working capital assignments.
Taking ownership of the complex, sometimes high-profile projects.
Communicating with colleagues and clients across global locations.
You’ll need a minimum of Level 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths; three A-levels/5 Highers (or equivalent); and a Honours Degree (in any subject) by the time the programme starts.
Please see visa sponsorship details below for this programme, for location: Belfast – Northern Ireland.
We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role due to UK Home Office regulations. Therefore, we cannot accept applications for this role from those who would require EY visa sponsorship. This includes individuals who have or plan to apply for a Graduate visa, as we are unable to convert your Graduate visa to a Skilled Worker visa before the end of your EY Graduate programme.
We have a variety of other vacancies which can support visa sponsorship where needed. We encourage you to explore these opportunities and find the one that aligns with your career aspirations. You can find out which vacancies are able to support applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship by looking at theindividual vacancy pages.
You want a career that counts. An experience that challenges you. That rewards performance and ultimately defines your future. That's what's on offer at EY. After all, our success is founded on yours.
We’re proud of our heritage on driving diversity and social mobility across the professional services industry, and in 2016, we removed the requirement to have minimum UCAS points or a degree classification to make an application to EY. We are passionate about giving candidates a fair and consistent recruitment process and are proud of our long-standing partnership with RARE who help us assess applications using contextual recruitment. And, whilst some academic qualifications will still be considered (check programme information for more details), it’s no longer a barrier. We also firmly believe that every candidate should have the opportunity to demonstrate their potential in our selection process which is why we use our leading EY Strengths Framework that focuses on your individual strengths.
EY recognises that it has clear obligations towards all its people and the community at large to ensure that partners, our people, and job applicants are afforded equal opportunities to enter employment and progress within the firm. As an employer committed to establishing an inclusive environment free from unlawful discrimination, the firm promotes the fair treatment of staff members and job applicants regardless of their sex, gender identity, marital or civil partnership status, race, ethnic or national origin, disability, religion, sexual orientation, age or pregnancy/maternity status.
Adjustments
All candidates should be given the opportunity to be their best selves throughout the process. We have adjustments in place to make all individual applications accessible.
