With more than 17 years of experience in advising clients on operational restructuring and performance improvement initiatives, Dierk is EY GSA Value Creation Services Leader and Ernst & Young – Germany Strategy and Transactions Partner.
He has helped implement large cost reduction programs across different industries, involving various functional improvement levers, and has gained experience in working with several buy- and sell-side due diligences and post-deal value creation programs.
Prior to joining EY to lead the Private Equity Value Creation services in GSA, Dierk worked for a management services company as well as with an American management and information technology consulting firm.
He holds a PhD in Supply Chain Management from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, an MBA in Finance from University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and a master’s degree in International Business Administration from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht.
