Transfer Pricing and VAT for the iGaming Industry

Event Outline

Transfer Pricing and VAT for the iGaming Industry. This interactive half-day workshop unpacks two of the most complex and fast-evolving tax disciplines affecting online gaming operators: transfer pricing and VAT. From a Transfer Pricing perspective, the session explores typical operating models in the iGaming industry and transfer pricing issues around these models. The idea is to discuss potential solutions as well as value chain optimization strategies based on our past experiences in this space and the guidance presented in the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines. On the indirect tax side, it examines the VAT treatment of B2C and B2B gaming supplies, place-of-supply rules, exemptions and input VAT recovery specific to the sector. Blending technical grounding with practical, sector-specific case studies, the workshop equips participants to identify risk, strengthen documentation and apply these concepts to real iGaming structures.
