Maria Daniel serves as the Managing Partner and Service Line Leader for EY‑Parthenon Caribbean, where she leads the region’s strategy, transactions, and sustainability portfolio. In this role, she guides clients across governments, financial institutions, national energy companies, and major corporates, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in strategy, public policy, and sustainable finance.

Before assuming leadership of EY‑Parthenon Caribbean, she built deep expertise advising on strategy, ESG integration, financial structuring, M&A, and market‑shaping initiatives across the region. Her background includes long‑standing advisory relationships with leading financial institutions and extensive work bridging public‑sector objectives with private‑sector capability.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Fellow, Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA).

Her ability to translate complex policy, economic and market dynamics into clear, actionable pathways enables decision makers to advance regionally relevant solutions with greater clarity and conviction. Alongside her client work, Maria is deeply committed to supporting the next generation of Caribbean leaders; she regularly mentors young people (with a team of greater than 80% women), encouraging them to pursue bold opportunities and build meaningful, impactful careers.
