Arina is the EY Asia-Pacific Climate Change Advisory Leader based in Malaysia. She is the EY Integrated Reporting subject matter professional for ASEAN, a member of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board working group on sustainability reporting and serves on the Sustainability Committee of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
With over 20 years of experience, Arina has provided a wide range of business advisory services to multinational companies while also supporting policymakers at the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). She focuses on environmental, social and governance (ESG) frameworks, policy development, net-zero strategy, carbon emissions and finance scenario modeling, digitalization of ESG performance metrics, integrated sustainability reporting and the incorporation of ESG factors into financial decision-making.
Arina has led ESG strategies for corporates and held discussions with government agencies on technology and sustainable finance. She has also been involved in discussions on green and social policies, taxonomies and standards for Malaysia.
