Stavros is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EY Cyprus. He has served as Country Managing Partner of EY in Cyprus between 2015-2020, during which time EY achieved market-leading growth on the island, enriched its service offerings in Consulting, Corporate Finance and Technology, while expanding its client portfolio considerably.
He is also actively involved in providing professional services to clients mainly engaged in the shipping and energy sectors.
With more than 30 years of experience in the provision of assurance services, Stavros has extensive expertise in auditing IFRS financial statements and acting as the Global Client Service Partner of local and multinational organisations.
Stavros has also applied his extensive professional skills via leading various buy-side due diligence projects, as well as a number of sector studies performed in Cyprus, such as the study on “The Future of Shipping in Cyprus”.
Stavros holds a B.Eng. degree (Hons) in Engineering with Industrial Management from the University of Surrey, UK. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW).

Through his appointment on the Board of Directors of Cyprus Seeds, Stavros actively supports the development of entrepreneurial ideas and collaborations, through the creation of spin-offs. Cyprus Seeds is a non-profit organization with a mission to promote and assist in the commercialization of innovative academic research in universities and research institutions in Cyprus."
