EY Georgia Announces appointment of New Assurance Partner

EY is pleased to announce key leadership appointments within its Assurance Practice, effective July 1, 2025. As part of these changes, Lela Mesablishvili will be promoted to Partner in the Assurance Practice.

Lela has been with EY for over 14 years, during this time she has built an impressive track record in delivering audit and assurance services in accordance with IFRS. Her extensive experience spans various industries, including oil and gas, energy, transportation and utilities. Lela's leadership and dedication have been instrumental in the continued growth and success of the Assurance Practice.

In addition to her client serving role, Lela is actively engaged in EY’s quality infrastructure and communications with external stakeholders. She serves on the board of the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors (“GFPAA”), a member organization of IFAC and is also a member of the GFPAA’s Audit Quality Committee. Lela is deeply involved in the advancement of the accounting profession in Georgia. She has taught accounting and auditing courses at leading Georgian universities and has delivered IFRS training for both EY professionals and external audiences.

Lela holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Caucasus School of Business and has been a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2016. She is a licensed auditor in Georgia and additionally holds a license from the State Audit Office, authorizing her to conduct audits of public sector entities.
