Areas of focus

Brian leads the EY Global Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services (TARAS). He has nearly 30 years of diverse experience advising audit and non-audit clients globally on complex tax accounting and reporting topics, including acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, IPOs, strategic planning, tax function performance and internal controls. He also serves as Global Tax Account Leader to a select number of multinational clients.

Prior to assuming his current role, Brian was a partner in the US National Tax – TARAS practice and earlier led the EY TARAS practice in EY Greater China. Currently residing in Hong Kong, Brian has lived in Cincinnati, Chicago and Dallas in the US, and in Shanghai, China.

Brian holds an Master of Accountancy in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
