Andreas is a Director in Banking & Capital Markets at EY GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and has been involved in the European Central Bank's Integrated Reporting Dictionary (BIRD) initiative for the global EY organization since 2017. He is a member of the European Central Banks BIRD Workstreams on Data Modeling and Prototyping and the BIRD Subgroup on Integrated Reporting Framework (IReF).
In the recent years, Andreas has overseen audit support for regulatory reporting for banks and financial service providers across Germany. In addition to regulatory reporting, his focus areas include regulatory transformations and corporate governance in banking.
His career to date includes positions at various banks, most recently as Managing Director responsible for risk management, board relations, non-performing loans and proprietary trading as well as several years in the bank audit department of the global EY organization.
Andreas is a trained banker and studied Economics at the University of Osnabrück (Diplom-Kaufmann).
