David joined EY in 1990, starting out in the London office, and then transferring to Ernst & Young LLP, Jersey in the Channel Islands in 2001. He has been an Assurance partner for the past 16 years, providing audits for global banks, funds and trusts based in the Channel Islands.
David provides statutory bank audit for offshore subsidiaries of FTSE 250 companies based in the Channel Islands. He also works with many large UK and offshore banks on advisory assignments, from detailed equity and fixed-income trading desk reviews, through to full multi-jurisdictional corporate governance assignments.
David has extensive experience of the local regulatory environment, previously leading complex restructuring, regulatory and multi-disciplinary projects for offshore private banking groups, as well as wealth and asset management clients in the Channel Islands.
David holds a MA (Hons) in Applied Mathematics from the University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland.
