Kirsty Mackay

Kirsty is an partner with Ernst & Young LLP based in Jersey and heads up the Channel Islands’ extended assurance services.

Kirsty provides audit services for numerous financial services and global trust company service providers. She also leads our extended assurance offering in the Channel Islands providing; regulatory due diligence, internal audit projects, corporate governance reviews, assistance with regulatory and compliance reporting, remediation projects, procedural reviews and assessments, and regulatory investigations.

Kirsty joined the EY London office in 1990, where she qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant and spent over 10 years working with financial services entities including special purpose vehicles and prime brokers. In 2001 she relocated to EY Jersey office.

She has also undertaken client secondments, including a major US bank in New York performing daily and monthly product control procedures and a 12-month secondment to the Jersey Financial Services Commission.

Kirsty attained a Bachelor of Science in Statistics at UCL (University College London).

Kirsty is a supporter of upskilling the next generation and has led initiatives that brings local children together to develop entrepreneurial skills and learn business acumen. Kirsty is an avid mentor and coach, helping build a better working world by supporting children in developing their confidence and the skills that could turn their potential into financial success.
